BASEBALL - Cutters Paulino Shuts Down Black Bears

Game Highlights: August 8, 2016 – Cutters starter Felix Paulino was dominate, tossing seven shutout innings en route to his first win of the season as the Cutters take the final game of the series against the Black Bears 3-0.

Paulino worked seven shutout innings, scattering five hits without allowing a walk to West Virginia. Paulino struck out four as he earned his 1st win in nine tries this season.

Darick Hall extended the Cutters lead to 2-0 with his 5th home run of the season in the 6th inning. It gives Hall 13 RBI on the season. Hall also recorded his 11th double of the year in the 8th inning, finishing the night 2-for-4.

Jon Hennigan and Carlos Indriago combined for two shutout innings of relief out of the Cutters bullpen. Hennigan worked around a single and a walk while striking out one in the 8th. Indriago worked around a pair of singles while striking out two to earn his first save of the year.

Jesus Alastre and Chandler Hall joined Darick Hall with multi-hit games. Alastre finished the night 2-for-5 with a pair of singles and a run scored. Chandler Hall collect his 5th double, finishing the night 2-for-3, adding a single and a walk.
