BASEBALL - Cutters Swept By Scrappers in double header

Game Highlights: August 14, 2016 – After waiting out another rain delay before game one, the Crosscutters were swept by the Scrappers in a doubleheader, as well as the series. Williamsport enters the All Star break five game over .500 at 30-25.

Enmanuel Garcia was the highlight of the doubleheader, going 2- for-3 in game one with a two run home run and going 2-for-5 in game two with a solo home run. Garcia now has three home runs on the season and eight runs batted in.

Felix Paulino was solid in his start in game two of the twinbill, tossing six innings, allowing one run while scattering six hits. Paulino tied a season-high with 7 strikeouts in the no-decision.

The Cutters fall to 5-2 in doubleheaders, 6-2 in extra inning games and 12-18 on the road in 2016.
