Football To Have Three Home Games Broadcast On SPORTSfever Television Network

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University football team will have three home games broadcast during the 2016 regular season as part of the SPORTSfever Television Network College Football "Game of the Week," which was recently announced by Gorden Blain, President of SPORTSfever TV. The network schedule features 15 games in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and will culminate on November 12 with the airing of the PSAC Championship Game, hosted by the Western Division regular season champion.

The Huskies' first home game of the season, against Clarion on September 10, will be the second game of a tripleheader on SPORTSfever. Kickoff from Redman Stadium is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. and will be sandwiched between Slippery Rock/West Chester at 12:00 p.m. and IUP/East Stroudsburg at 6:00 p.m. Bloomsburg will also have its home games against West Chester (October 15) and East Stroudsburg (October 22) live on the SPORTSfever Television Network.

"We are excited to have put together an outstanding schedule of games from our participating universities in the PSAC, and especially to be announcing that we will be airing the PSAC Championship game on November 12 through our network affiliates," said Blain. "We had 1.3 million total viewers through our affiliates a year ago - more than double the number of viewers in 2014. We expect the PSAC brand to continue to benefit on a regional and national basis and for the audience to continue to climb. No NCAA Division II football conference has had more games air nationally by STN on ESPN3--28--the past two seasons than the PSAC."

The season kicks off with HBCU rivalry game on Thursday, September 1 with Cheyney University visiting Lincoln University at 7:00 p.m. That game will mark SPORTSfever's 100th collegiate production.

STN has televised 99 college football games since 2007 and its games have generated more than five million viewers. STN reaches more than 18 million households. Last year, with 17 live games and 16 additional replays, the SPORTSfever TV Network College football "Game of the Week" had 1.3 million viewers. In addition, ESPN3 has been a big addition to the live network, with games viewed in a variety of ways, including most handheld or portable devices as well as ESPN Game plan and more. The Millersville at Clarion game in 2015 had over 14,000 unique viewers alone.

SPORTSfever TV affiliates include ESPN3 nationally, Sinclair Broadcasting TV Stations WHP-Harrisburg, WPNT-Pittsburgh and WJAC-Johnstown, Blue Ridge Cable Network, The Comcast Network Mid-Atlantic region, Fox Sports Ohio, Tribune Broadcasting TV Station WPHL-Philadelphia; Nexstar Broadcasting TV Stations WBRE-Wilkes Barre/Scranton, WETM-Elmira and WHAG- Hagerstown, and Independent station WYLN-Hazleton.
