Lebanon Valley Football - Football Camp Underway, Officially Starts 2016 for Dutchman

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley's football program opened preseason camp this weekend, with the team getting its first on-field workout in a day after reporting to campus.

The Flying Dutchmen, who kickoff the season Sept. 3 at Franklin & Marshall, held their first day of training on Sunday. The session consisted of walkthroughs, fitness testing, team and position meetings, and the first practice of the season. LVC opened camp with 117 student-athletes on the roster.

LVC's men's soccer, women's soccer, field hockey, and volleyball teams report in a matter of days as the programs will begin practice next week. The men's soccer and men's and women's cross country teams officially open the 2016 athletic season on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 1. Men's soccer hosts Berkeley (N.J.) at Herbert Field, while the cross country teams will compete at Misericordia.
