The Huskies are coming off a ninth place finish
BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's cross country team was picked eighth in the PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) pre-season coaches poll that was released on Tuesday.

The Huskies are coming off a ninth place finish at the PSAC Championships a year ago, its best finish since 2009 when it placed fifth.

Bloomsburg returns a group of veteran runners that will toe the starting line in 2016 led by junior Daniel Neiswender (Lebanon, Pa/Cedar Crest) who placed 30th at the PSAC Championships to earn second team All-PSAC honors. Neiswender was also the PSAC Champion Scholar at the PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the spring.

Joining Neiswender as returning runners will be seniors Jake Plachko (St. Clair/Pottsville Area), James Wilson (Warrington/Central Bucks South) and Danny Dugan (Ramsey, NJ/Ramsey), who missed all of last year with an injury.
