Mid-Atlantic Region Holds Off Southeast Region, Remains Undefeated

Mid-Atlantic and Southeast both threatened with rallies, but it was Mid-Atlantic that eventually took advantage of them in a 3-1 win at Lamade Stadium.

Mid-Atlantic held off Southeast, as Southeast was unable to overcome a three-run third inning deficit.

Southeast scored one run in the sixth on a solo home run by Zach McWilliams. Still, Southeast couldn't draw even.

Ryan Harlost racked up two RBIs on one hit for Mid-Atlantic. He homered in the first inning.

RESULTS: Little League Baseball® World Series

Michael Mancini got the win for Mid-Atlantic thanks to 13 strikeouts. Mancini allowed one earned run on four hits and no walks over 5 1/3 innings.

Brock Duffer was charged with the loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out five, and allowed three runs.

Mid-Atlantic closer Harlost put away the final two outs to record the save.

The game was never in doubt after the first, as Mid-Atlantic scored two runs on a two-run home run by Harlost.

The sixth inning saw Southeast score its only run on the day on a solo home run by McWilliams.
