Mandell, a four-year letterwinner at RIT, earned Second Team All-Liberty League honors in 2016. She finished her senior season with career highs in points (37) and goals (27), while helping the Tigers to an 8-8 overall record and a 5-4 mark in conference play as a team captain. She led the Liberty League with 73 draw controls, averaging 4.56 per contest.
Mandell earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a junior and she was also second-team all-conference as a sophomore. She finished her career at RIT second in program history with 186 career draw controls, while her 123 career points are ninth all-time.
After graduating from RIT with a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science with a concentration in exercise science in 2016, she travelled with an American International team to the Prague Cup, helping the team coached by Shaddock to the championship.
A Corning, N.Y., native, Mandell has also helped coach the Rochester-based Relentless Hustle club program.
The Warriors finished the season 12-5 in 2016, as the team went 4-4 to finish fifth in the MAC Commonwealth, helping the squad earn its first postseason berth since 2010.
