Delaware Valley Football - Aggies Home Football Game Moved Up to Friday Night

Excessive heat expected Saturday
DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Due to the excessive heat expected on Saturday and following discussions with both the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office and our opponent, Misericordia University, the Delaware Valley University home football game has been moved up to Friday night, September 9 at 7 p.m.

The move is being made in the best interest and for the safety of the student-athletes, coaches and officials on the field as well as the fans in the stands. According to the latest forecast, the temperature on the Aggies’ turf field could exceed 120 degrees.

The home opener was slated to be the Hall of Fame Game with three former DelVal standouts being inducted in a halftime ceremony. The ceremony, as well as the pre-game reception, will be moved to the next home football game which is against Albright College on Saturday, September 24 (1 p.m.).
