Delval Debuts at No. 13 in First Afca Poll, Stays 14th in D3football Poll

DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The first American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III poll of the 2016 season was announced on Monday and Delaware Valley University is ranked 13th. Meanwhile, the Aggies remained 14th in the latest Top 25 poll.

DelVal accumulated 478 points and is the lone Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) school in the AFCA top 25 as Stevenson University and Albright College are receiving votes. The Aggies received 300 points in the rankings while Stevenson is seven spots below at No. 21.

Defending national champion University of Mount Union is ranked first in both polls.

DelVal will host Albright for a key MAC contest on Saturday, September 24 (1 p.m.).
