Stevenson Football - Dan Williams Named MAC Offensive Player of the Week

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Stevenson University junior quarterback Dan Williams was named the Middle Atlantic Conference football Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office on Sunday.  Williams wins the award for the first time in his career.

Williams established program records for passing touchdowns (6) and passing yards (338) in a 54-15 rout of FDU-Florham on Saturday afternoon.  He finished 21-33 passing and threw touchdown strikes of 49,37, 29,26, 20 and six yards, with junior Devin Salisbury and sophomorePreston Addo each catching three touchdown passes.  Williams also threw just one interception in the victory, which improved Stevenson to 4-0 and alone in first place in the MAC with a 3-0 league mark.
On the season, Williams is 79-116 (68.1%) passing for 938 yards and 13 touchdowns against four interceptions.
Stevenson has had a player win a MAC weekly award in each of the first four weeks of the season.  Salisbury was named the league's Special Teams Player of the Week in week one, with senior Austin Tennessee and senior Jimmy Lauer earning Defensive Player of the Week honors in week two and week three, respectively.
Stevenson, ranked No. 21 in the most recent Top 25, returns to action Saturday when it travels to Misericordia University for a 1:00 contest.
