MINNEAPOLIS – The Stevenson University football team moved up three spots and is now ranked No. 21 in this week's Top 25 as the poll was released Sunday evening. The Mustangs earned their first-ever national ranking a week ago as they entered the poll at No. 24.

Mount Union leads the poll, followed by Wisconsin-Whitewater, Mary Hardin-Baylor, St. Thomas and Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Delaware Valley University is the only other Middle Atlantic Conference team to appear, as they check in at No. 14 this week.

Stevenson moved to 3-0 with a 24-13 win over Lebanon Valley at home on Saturday. The Mustangs jumped out to a 21-0 lead early in the third quarter over the Dutchmen. Dating back to last season, Stevenson has won five straight contests.

The Mustangs continue to lead Division III in interceptions with 10 through the first three games. Stevenson also ranks fifth in turnovers gained (12) and ninth in turnover margin (+2.33).

Stevenson returns to action Saturday when it hosts FDU-Florham in a 1:00 MAC contest at Mustang Stadium.
