Baseball - Cutters Strand Eight In 4-1 Loss To Auburn

Game Highlights: July 25, 2017 – A night after the Cutters exploded for a season-high in runs, they were held to just a run as they fell 4-1 to Auburn at home.

Greg Pickett highlighted the Crosscutters offense, finishing the night 2 for 4 with a RBI, giving him 12 RBI on the season. Pickett now has a 13-game home hitting streak.

Andrew Brown suffered the loss, allowing four runs over six innings of work, walking three and striking out five.

Kyle Dohy tossed a pair of shut out innings with a pair of strikeouts in relief of Brown.

The Crosscutters fall to 4-2 against the Doubledays, dropping the first two series against the Pinckney division foe in 2017.

Williamsport finished the night 1 for 12 with runners in scoring position, stranding eight runners in the loss.
