Crosscutters Armas Closed Door On Scrappers For Cutters 10th Win Of The Season

Game Highlights: July 8, 2017 – Gustavo Armas was removed from his starting role before the game, but that did not stop him from dominating Scrappers hitters, closing the door on a 6-1 Crosscutters win.


Armas entered the ball game in the top of the sixth inning, in a non-save situation. Armas tossed the final four innings, striking out a season-high eight batters to earn his 1st save of the season.

Nick Maton recorded three hits, going 3 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored in the lead off spot for Williamsport. Maton now has 2 RBI on the season.
