Game Highlights: July 13, 2017 – The Crosscutters offense was held in check, falling 2-1 in extras, but it was the rain that stole the show in Connecticut.

The Crosscutters were held to a season-low one hit in the game one loss to the Tigers. The lone hit was recorded by Jake Scheiner in the 4th inning.

Adam Haseley’s sacrifice fly, to plate Nick Maton represented the lone Cutters run, which came in the top of the 1st inning. It was Haseley’s 5th RBI of the season.

Andrew Brown took over for Julian Garcia when play resumed this morning. Garcia went three shutout innings, striking out six in that span. Brown suffered the loss, allowing the tying and winning runs to score over his 4.1 innings of work.

Game two was canceled due to rain that sent the game into a delay before the start of the 5th inning with the Tigers leading 5-0.
