Cutters Hang On In Batavia For Another Win

Game Highlights: July 20, 2017 – Colby Fitch gave the Cutters their first lead with his first professional home run, as the Crosscutters held on to hand the Muckdogs a 5-4 loss.

Fitch was the lone Crosscutter to finish with a multi-hit game, finishing the night 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk.

The RBI was he 4th of the season. Austin Listi added a pinch hit two-run double in the 4th inning, as he pinch hit for Malvin Matos. Listi finished the night 1 for 3 with the double and two RBI, giving him 10 on the season.

Nick Maton added a RBI single in the 4th inning, finishing the night 1 for 5. The RBI was Maton’s 4th of the season.

Kyle Young had his scoreless streak ended in the month of July ended in the 1st inning, ending at 15.2 innings without allowing a run. Young worked five innings, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk, while striking out four.
