Baseball - Cutters Malvin Matos Homer Too Little Too Late

Game Highlights: August 6, 2017 – In what was a frustrating game, Malvin Matos provided the Cutters offense with his second home run of the season in Williamsport’s 6-1 loss.

Matos finished the night 1 for 4 with the home run, giving him his 14th RBI of the season. Adam Haseley and Jhailyn Ortiz each recorded multi-hit games, both finishing 2 for 4 on the night.

Julian Garcia suffered his third loss of the season, allowing four runs on nine innings over six innings of work. Garcia did not allow a walk, but did strike out five in the outing.

Jhon Nunez and Orestes Melendez combined to allow two runs over three innings of relief, striking out three, walking one and allowing five hits.
