BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - After a one-year hiatus, Bloomsburg University head football coach Paul Darragh will again hold his dinner series, "Dinner With Darragh", at the Quaker Steak and Lube located on Columbia Mall Drive this fall.
Three dates have been established for this season's series with the first one to be held on Thursday, September 7. The next dinner will be on Thursday, October 5 - two days prior to the Huskies' Homecoming date against Kutztown - and then the series will wrap up on Thursday, October 26 as a preview for this year's Hall of Fame Weekend game against Lock Haven.

The events are open to the public with dinner beginning at 6:00 p.m. and a short program to follow. A buffet dinner will be held each night with the cost of the meal being $13 per person - including a non-alcoholic beverage. Following the dinner, Darragh will speak about the season, preview that Saturday's game, and introduce members of the coaching staff and players from this year's roster.

Darragh, who will be in his fifth season as the Huskies' head coach. enters the 2017 campaign with a 34-13 overall record (.723). The 34 victories over his first four seasons marks the most wins in the first four years of a coaching career at Bloomsburg while his .723 winning percentage is the second-best mark during the first four years of a coaching tenure (Robert Redman went 30-4 (.882) from 1947 to 1950). With Darragh on the Huskies' staff, dating back to his first season as defensive coordinator in 1997, Bloomsburg has compiled an overall record of 175-57 (.754).

The first two seasons of the Darragh Era will go down as two of the strongest in Huskies' history. Darragh posted a 21-4 overall record, back-to-back PSAC East titles, two NCAA Playoff berths, and a PSAC Championship (2013) while being named PSAC East Coach of the Year in both 2013 and 2014. He also became the fastest Huskies' head coach to reach 20 victories. Following the 2014 season, he was honored as the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Super Region One Coach of the Year.

The Huskies are scheduled to open the 2017 regular season with a home game - the team's first of six home contests during the campaign - against Stonehill College on Saturday, September 2. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. from Danny Hale Field at Robert B. Redman Stadium.
