LLWS News - 2017 Little League Goes Solar Eclipse Crazy

2017 Little League Goes Solar Eclipse Crazy - A www.LittleLeague.News Photo

Each year the Little League World Series has a personality of it's own. This year it has gone Solar Eclipse crazy as Willliamsport was expected to have a 72% eclipse of the sun. During the magic eclipse time at 2:38 pm, the four teams playing in Volunteer and Lamade stadium never missed a beat. Little League had 30,000 solar glasses available to protect fans from eye damage. Some of the most interesting photos we took were people putting glasses over their cell phone camera lens to snap that memorable shot. Click here to view our Solar Eclipse photo album.
