ANNVILLE, Pa. - Albright football freshman kicker/punter Christian Hagans kicked the game-winning field goal with three seconds remaining from 29-yards out to give the Lions a 9-7 win over Widener in the 67th Annual Rajah Shrine Pretzel Bowl. For his efforts, Hagans was named the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week. The award was announced by the league on Sunday morning.

The win kept the Lions undefeated on the season. Hagans added eight punts in the game with three fair catches and five landed inside the Pride's 20-yard line.

Hagans becomes the third Albright player to earn a MAC weekly award this season. Alec Vignola and Kevin Goetz earned MAC Offensive and Special Teams Player of the Week awards, respectively, following the Lions' Week 2 win at Misericordia.

Albright returns to action next Saturday at King's (Pa.).
