Rosso finished the night allowing just two hits without walking a batter and striking out eight. The six innings matched his season-high with Williamsport as the eight strikeouts were the most he has had in a Cutters uniform.
Cononr Brogdon threw three innings, allowing just one run on one hit, a solo home rune in the top of the 9th, as he secured his 2nd save of the season. Brogdon struck out four batters.
Nick Maton finished the night 2 for 4 with a RBI double, giving him his 13th RBI and his 8th double of the season. Josh Stephen picked up his 27th RBI of the season with a sacrifice fly. Jake Scheiner recorded his 17th RBI with his 12th double, finishing the game 1 for 4.
Yahir Gurrola (2 for 4), Malvin Matos (2 for 3) and Rodolfo Duran (2 for 3) each joined Maton with multi-hit games as the Crosscutters pounded out 10 hits in their final home game of the season.
The Crosscutters finished their home schedule with a 22-16 record, giving them three straight seasons with 20 or more wins at home. The win over Batavia gave the Crosscutters a 9-6 record against the Muckdogs in 2017 Williamsport finished with an attendance of 61,082.
