Huskies Continue Road Swing with Trip to Jefferson Wednesday

STORYLINE
Bloomsburg continues its five-game road swing looking for its first win. The game against Jefferson is the second of five straight on the road.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Jefferson College leads the all-time series over Bloomsburg 1-0.

LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies dropped a 5-2 decision to Goldey-Beacom on Sunday (Sept. 3) to fall to 0-2. The Huskies fell behind just three minutes in, but Carter Luckenbaugh (York, Pa./Central York) found Austin Transue(Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) in the 28th minute to tie the match. The contest appeared to be heading to halftime tied, before a Goldey-Beacom penalty kick in the dying seconds of the first put the Lightning up 2-1. The score remained as such until the 68th minute, when Brett Milden (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional)put one in the back of the net through a crowd. The tie was short-lived, as the Lightning scored a few minutes later to get the win. They padded their lead with two goals in the last 10 minutes of play.

LAST MEETING
These two teams met back on September 28, 2016 in Bloomsburg with the Rams coming away with the 3-2 overtime win. Transue netted a goal in that game as well.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Transue and Milden each have two points on one goal on the year. Those marks are tied for sixth and fifth in the league respectively.
