Lock Haven University Men’s Soccer falls at Le Moyne

 Playing on the road for the first time this season, the LHU men’s soccer team dropped a non-conference match at Le Moyne.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Playing on the road for the first time this season, the Lock Haven University men’s soccer team (2-1-1) fell to Le Moyne College (3-0), 3-0, in non-conference action.

The Bald Eagles entered today’s match at 2-0-1 and were unbeaten through their first three contests this season.

The host Dolphins scored two first half goals (7’, 38’) and added a second-half strike to take home the victory. Le Moyne’s Marek Weber scored both goals in the first half.

Haven goalkeeper Troy Teresak (Pompton Plains, N.J./DePaul Catholic) made four saves to keep Lock Haven in the match.

Beckham Sibiski (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown H.S.) did all he could to spark the attack, finishing with three saves including two on target.

The Bald Eagles, who have played three of their first four games this season at home, return to the Stern Athletic Complex for Lock Haven’s 2017 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opener. LHU hosts Bloomsburg on Wednesday, September 13 at 1:30 p.m.
