PREVIEW - Huskies Field Hockey Entertains Adelphi Tuesday In Home Opener

STORYLINE - The Huskies play at the friendly confines of Steph Pettit Stadium for the first time in 2017 when they host the Panthers of Adelphi University in a battle of two top-ten teams according to the preseason Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) rankings released last week. Head coach Nikki Rhoads is in her eighth season as the head coach of the Huskies and is just four wins away from becoming the second coach in program history to reach 100 career victories. Rhoads has a career record of 96-43 as the Bloomsburg head coach and trails only legendary coach, Jan Hutchinson, in career wins at the school.

The Huskies are coming off of a 7-0 shutout victory over Newberry College on Sunday, September 3, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
