The Albright Lions return home to face Wilkes on Saturday looking to stop a two-game losing streak. Albright dropped a 26-23 decision at Stevenson last Saturday.

The Lions led, 16-12, heading into the fourth quarter. Stevenson scored on a pair of long touchdown passes, however, to take a 26-16 lead. Albright nearly completed the comeback with a touchdown to turn it into a three-point game, but the Lions came up short on its final possession with less than a minute to play.

Wide receiver Kyle Dickerson scored a pair of touchdowns on receptions in the loss at Stevenson on Saturday. Both of his touchdowns gave Albright the lead at various points. His first score came on a 13-yard pass from Alec Vignola to give the Lions a 7-2 lead in the second quarter.

He came back with another on a 40-yard catch-and-run to give the Lions a 16-12 lead midway through the third quarter. It's his first game with multiple receiving touchdowns in his career. He finished the game with five catches for 81 yards. He ranks third in the MAC in all-purpose yards, averaging 116 yards per game.

Backup quarterback Jimmy Lahay had a perfect day at Stevenson on Saturday. After starting quarterback Alec Vignola had to leave the game for one play after losing his helmet on a run, Lahay entered with the Lions sitting at the Stevenson 2.

Lahay dropped back and found Malik Jackson in the corner of the end zone to cut the Stevenson lead to 26-23 with 3:33 remaining in the fourth quarter. Lahay finished 1-for-1 for two yards and a touchdown.

Defensive back Kali Boyce grabbed two more interceptions for the Lions on Saturday. His second interception came after Lahay's touchdown pass brought the Lions to within three points.

Boyce picked off Stevenson quarterback Dan Williams with just over a minute to play in the fourth quarter. That gave the Lions an unexpected opportunity to tie or win the game.

Boyce leads the Lions with four interceptions on the season. He's tied for first in the MAC and 33rd in the NCAA in that category.

Junior kicker/punter Kevin Goetz earned his third MAC Special Teams Player of the Week Award for his performance in the team's game at Stevenson.

Goetz recorded a field goal and two extra points in the 26-23 setback to Stevenson. He made his field goal from 31 yards out. Goetz also recorded a pair of touchbacks on kickoffs. As the punter, he punted five times for a 36.6 average, and dropped two punts inside the 20.

Wilkes enters Saturday's game winless at 0-7 after a 49-31 loss to FDU-Florham last week. Wilkes leads the MAC in fewest penalty yards, averaging less than 50 penalty yards per game. Wilkes also ranks third in the conference in completion percentage at 60.9 percent on the season.

Linebacker Bud Moyer is second in the MAC in total tackles, averaging 10.1 tackles per game.

A full day of action in the MAC on Saturday is highlighted by a battle between Lebanon Valley and Delaware Valley and Widener traveling to Stevenson. Those teams, along with Albright, make up the top half of the MAC in 2017.

Misericordia goes to Lycoming, and King's hosts FDU-Florham. All games begin at 1 p.m.

The Centennial Conference and the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) will continue with its postseason bowl series in 2017 for a third-straight year.

The Centennial-MAC Bowl Series will involve the top two teams from each conference that are not selected to the NCAA Division III Championship. The top team from each conference that is not selected to the NCAA Division III Championship will host the second-best team from the opposing conference.

The MAC has won all four bowl series games to date. Delaware Valley has picked up two of the victories over Moravian (2015) and Muhlenberg (2016), while Stevenson defeated Muhlenberg in 2015 and Albright defeated Franklin & Marshall in 2016.
