The Aggies (6-0, 5-0 Middle Atlantic Conference) received 963 points in the AFCA poll to trail only defending champion Mary Hardin Baylor, Mount Union, Wisconsin-Oshkosh, North Central and St. Thomas are ranked higher. Hardin-Simmons was fifth in last week’s poll, but a 17-7 loss to Mary Hardin-Baylor resulted in them slipping to eighth and allowing DelVal to up a spot.
For D3football.com, the Aggies received 414 points to remain 10th for the third week in a row. Nothing changed in the top 10 as Hardin-Simmons remained fifth despite the loss to Mary Hardin-Baylor, which heads that poll as well.
DelVal will have three of its final four games at home, starting with a Homecoming meeting with MAC foe King’s College on Saturday, October 14 (12:30 p.m.).
