Market Street Bridge Inspection, Lane Closures on Multiple Routes Scheduled

Montoursville, PA – Bridge inspections on several roads in northcentral Pennsylvania have been scheduled for next week.

On Sunday, October 8, a bridge crew will be on the Route 15 (Market Street) bridge spanning the West Branch of the Susquehanna River and Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks. There will be lane restrictions in alternating directions on the bridge while this work is performed.

On Monday, October 9, inspections will be performed on the Interstate 180 bridge over Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks and Route 44 at Watsontown, and on the Route 405 bridge over the railroad tracks at Watsontown. There will be short-term flagging on Route 405 and a local road that runs underneath it.

On Tuesday, October 9, there will be alternating lane closures in both directions for an inspection on the Interstate 80 bridge over I-180 in Northumberland County.
