ANNVILLE, Pa. - After throwing for 396 yards and five touchdowns, Stevenson football senior Dan Williams was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Player of the Week announced by the league on Sunday.
It is the second time Williams has won the honor in his career, after being named the Offensive Player of the Week a season ago. He is also the second Mustang to earn player of the week honors after senior Preston Addo earned Special Team Player of the Week honors on September 16.
Williams, who did not throw an interception for the fourth time this season, broke his own single game passing record with his 396 yards while throwing at least five touchdowns for the second time in his career. It was also the fifth time in his career throwing for over 300 yards.
Stevenson returns to action on Saturday, October 14 when the Mustangs travel to Lebanon Valley. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
