Warriors Lazarich named United Soccer Coaches Player of the Week

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – After being named MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week and wrapping up a historic career, Lycoming College women’s soccer senior Jordan Lazarich(Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) has been named the United Soccer Coaches Division III Player of the Week, the organization announced on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Lazarich is the only player in program history to have earned National Player of the Week honors, as she has won it twice in her career. She also won it on Sept. 6, 2016 after scoring eight goals in three games.

In the Warriors 10-2 win over Penn State Schuylkill, Lazarich recorded program-records of 13 points and six goals. In the final regular game of the season on Saturday, Lazarich added a goal in the Warriors 4-3 double-overtime win over Hood for the team's first MAC Commonwealth win of the season.
Lazarich finishes her career with program-records 137 points and 62 goals. Her 62 goals are tied with Jeff Kocher of the men's program for the most goals by a Lycoming soccer player.

The Warriors finished the season 5-12-1 under first-year head coach Kenny Fern.
