READING, Pa. - The Albright football team will play its last road game of the regular season when it travels to FDU-Florham for a MAC game on Friday night at 7 p.m. The game marks Albright's second Friday night game of the season. The Lions opened the 2017 season with a 38-35 overtime victory against Salisbury on Sept. 1.

Albright quarterback Alec Vignola was named the ECAC Division III South Offensive Player of the Week and the MAC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in last week's victory over Wilkes.

Vignola led the Lions to their fourth fourth-quarter comeback of the season. The senior completed a 21-yard touchdown pass to Khari Jefferson with 15 seconds remaining to give the Lions a 26-23 win. Vignola finished the game with 361 passing yards on 32-of-42 passing with two touchdowns, hitting Jefferson and Mike Jordan with touchdown throws.

Neither Malik Jackson nor Kyle Dickerson caught a touchdown pass from Vignola on Saturday, but both receivers had big days without finding the end zone. Jackson led the team with 130 receiving yards on nine catches, and Dickerson led the team with 11 receptions for 122 yards.

Dickerson also added 85 yards on kickoff and punt returns. He ranks seconds in the MAC in all-purpose yards with 128.1 yards per game.

The Albright defense had five different players record interceptions in the win over Wilkes. Grant Boehler, Kali Boyce, Nate Steffen, Ya'Meer Lowery and Kyven Jones each had a pick for the Lions.

Boyce now has five interceptions to lead the Lions. He also leads the MAC and is ranked 14th in the nation in interceptions. Boehler's interception is his fourth of the season, putting him just behind Boyce in second place on the team and in the conference.

The interceptions by the three other players marks the first three picks of the season not made by Boyce or Boehler. Albright is tied with Delaware Valley for the MAC lead with 12 interceptions.

Isaiah Baylor forced a fumble against Wilkes, and that helped him move up the national rankings in that category. Baylor is ranked 10th in the NCAA - and first in the MAC - in that category. Baylor is also third in the conference in sacks.

After Jordan's touchdown grab on Saturday, he moved to second in the MAC with seven touchdown catches. FDU-Florham's Malik Pressley leads the conference with eight.

After defeating Wilkes, 49-31, two weeks ago, the Devils lost by a field goal at King's last weekend, 18-15. The Devils led, 12-7, at the start of the fourth quarter and 15-10 later in the period, but King's scored on a 1-yard touchdown run with just 20 seconds left to win the game.

Steve Iannone rushed 20 times for 154 yards, and Pressley led the receiving group with five catches for 85 yards.

FDU-Florham quarterback Jagger Green leads the MAC in both completion percentage and completions per game game. On the defensive side, Isaiah Turner leads the conference and is ranked fourth in the NCAA in total tackles, averaging 13.5 per game.

The Centennial Conference and the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) will continue with its postseason bowl series in 2017 for a third-straight year.

The Centennial-MAC Bowl Series will involve the top two teams from each conference that are not selected to the NCAA Division III Championship. The top team from each conference that is not selected to the NCAA Division III Championship will host the second-best team from the opposing conference.

The MAC has won all four bowl series games to date. Delaware Valley has picked up two of the victories over Moravian (2015) and Muhlenberg (2016), while Stevenson defeated Muhlenberg in 2015 and Albright defeated Franklin & Marshall in 2016.
