Mr. MAC predictions for Week 11 - Where has the season gone?

Rivalry Week
Not a very good week last week as I only got three of five games correct. I knew the Lycoming vs Lebanon Valley game would be close, I picked Lycoming by three points, but the final was Lebanon Valley 20-17. And my long shot did not pan out as Albright handles a feisty FDU-Florham. Week 11 won't be any easier on old Mr. MAC either as we have rivalry week. Everyone want to go out a winner. They want to set up next year with a season ending win. All games this week are very competitive.

When I predict games, I look at desire, the stakes of the game (Championships), don’t have anything to lose (the underdog) and Coaching! Oh, and throw in some history into the equation! Here are my picks for the week and I guarantee that I will not be perfect this week.

Wilkes vs Kings
This game is a classic game each year. Throw out all the records. If history repeats itself King's will win this game. They have won every other week this season and would be at .500 for the year with a victory. Last year for Wilkes, it was a wild ride. The Colonels defeated Lycoming 28-26 then upset the ultimate MAC Champion Stevenson 38-35. Wilkes was ready to take the 22nd Mayor's Cup home, but they were overpowered by the Monarchs QB Zach Whitehead. Also, the King's defense played well resulting in a lopsided 42-14 loss for Wilkes. But look at the 2015 season when Wilkes bussed over to McCarthy Stadium and defeated the Monarchs 24-17. Wilkes only had one win at that point and that was against powerhouse Delaware Valley. So throw the records out. Each team will tell you that winning this game can make the season. Who do we see coming out on top Saturday?
Mr. MAC Says: King's 31 - Wilkes 24

Lycoming vs Stevenson
With a win over Lebanon Valley last week the Warrior would have had a chance to go 6-4 this year and a winning season. But that did not happen. Lebanon Valley prevailed in the. That game could have been a spark for the Warriors to overtake the Mustangs in their last game. Now, Stevenson is coming off a 44-12 win over Wilkes and set records doing it. That momentum and the added advantage of a home game, Senior Day and their last game of the year will pull them in an advantage over the Lyco.
Mr. MAC Says: Stevenson 31 - Lycoming 24

Misericordia vs FDU-Florham
The Devils should be able to finish Senior Day and their season with a win, but a scrappy Cougar team will make it difficult. Misericordia was beaten down by the top ranked Aggies from Doylestown 51-7 last week. Misericordia's offense was stonewalled by the top ranked Aggies defense. FDU-Florham was fairly competitive against Albright last week losing by a score of 51-33. The Devils have the better offense here  I believe and they will prevail over the Misericordia Cougars.
Mr. MAC Says: FDU-Florham 38 - Misericordia 27

Lebanon Valley vs Albright
This game has become a great rivalry each year as the winner gets Monday off (At least Lebanon Valley would from what the players told me). There is incentive for young players. Home team Albright will honor their seniors with a big screaming crowd on hand, a little advantage. I have been hard on Albright and Lebanon Valley with my picks this year, so this game will make someone happy. Last year Tim Pirrone scored with 3:00 left in the game to seal a 28-25 home victory for the Dutchman. But the Lions have had the upper hand over the years, as the Dutchman's other victory was back in 2011.
Note: Lebanon Valley and Albright hook up for the 97th time in the history of The Rivalry when the Flying Dutchmen travel to Reading for the team's regular-season finale on Saturday afternoon. The squads have a chance to secure a bowl berth with a victory. See article >>>
Mr. MAC Says: Albright 30 - Lebanon Valley 20

Widener vs Delaware Valley
The last time Widener defeated DelVal was in 2014 and they did it handily. With a big third quarter, the Pride rolled to a 44-28 win. But the Aggies have controlled the last two years, winning by a margin of 55 points. That is almost eight touchdowns. Widener has been improving each week this year They are positioned for an upset of the No. 7 team in the nation. Can they do it is the question. Sure they can! But we see the Aggies beating the Pride for the third season in a row and celebrate the honor of being the MAC Champions. Then they will prepare for NCAA Tournament play.
Mr. MAC Says: Delaware Valley 31 - Widener 17
