Lycoming College women’s basketball team takes on Randolph-Macon at the Cruzin’ Classic

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - With two longtime coaches that are chasing significant win milestones as the season builds, the Lycoming College and Randolph-Macon women's basketball team's will face off in the Cruzin' Classic at the Broward County Convention Center on Monday, Dec. 18.

The Warriors (7-2 overall) have won three straight and five of six coming into the team's first trip to the Sunshine State since 1997. The team is led by two of the three top scorers in the MAC Commonwealth in sophomore Kayla Kline (16.2) and senior Shelby Mueller (15.2).

The Yellow Jackets (6-1 overall) are wrapping up their trip to Florida on Monday after playing Lawrence on Sunday. The team is led by sophomore Kelly Williams, who is second in Division III in scoring (24.9) and first in rebounding (19.3).

Game Notes
• Lycoming leads the MAC Commonwealth with an average of 80.4 points per game, a .322 defensive field goal percentage, a .432 3-point field goal percentage, 47.1 rebounds per game, 17.3 offensive rebounds per game and a +8.2 rebounding margin.

• Senior Shelby Mueller needs just 18 more to become the sixth player in school history to reach 600 in her career.

• Senior Haley Sipple needs seven more points to become the 43rd player in school history to post 500 in a career.

• Junior Becca Painter needs eight more points to reach 200 in her career.

• Sophomore Akilah McFadden needs four more assists to become the 34th player in school history to dish out 100 in a career.

• Sophomore Morgan Mader needs three more 3-pointers made to become the 30th player in school history to reach the milestone.
