The Lycoming College women’s basketball team’s game notes for its 8 p.m. MAC Commonwealth game at Alvernia University on Wednesday, Dec. 6,

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a dominating fourth quarter to help it cruise past Hood, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will look for its second straight win when it heads to Alvernia University for an 8 p.m. MAC Commonwealth game on Wednesday, Dec. 5.


The Warriors (5-2 overall, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth) outscored Hood by 16 points in the final quarter of their 72-56 win on Saturday. Senior Shelby Mueller led the team with 17 points and a career-high 18 rebounds and both sophomores Kayla Kline and Akilah McFadden had 10 points.

The Golden Wolves (3-4 overall, 0-2 MAC Commonwealth) fell to Lebanon Valley, 55-30, in its last outing. Junior Maya Cooper and freshman Emily Theobald each scored a team-high six points.

• Lycoming leads the MAC Commonwealth with an average of 83.1 points per game, a .333 defensive field goal percentage, a .462 3-point field goal percentage, 7.0 3-pointers made per game, 48.9 rebounds per game, 17.9 offensive rebounds per game, a +10.9 rebounding margin, 6.71 blocks per game and 18.3 assists per game.

• Senior Shelby Mueller needs seven more points to become the 10th player in school history to reach 1,000 in a career.

• With 554 career rebounds, Mueller needs just nine more to tie Erica Weaver for seventh in the school's career record book.

• Senior Haley Sipple needs 16 more points to become the 43rd player in school history to post 500 in a career.

• Sophomore Kayla Kline needs five more points to reach 400 points in her career and sophomore Akilah McFadden is 13 from the mark.
