Football - Bald Eagles Fielding, Flamer earn All-Region honors

CLARION, Pa. – Trent Fielding (Sunbury, Ohio/Urbana) and Isaiah Flamer (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) of the Lock Haven University football team have both earned 2017 Don Hansen Football Gazette All-Super Region 1 honors.

Fielding, a redshirt-senior, earned a spot on the Third Team Offense (offensive guard) and Flamer, a redshirt-junior, earned a spot on the Third Team Defense (safety).

Both players were All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division First Team selections.

Fielding led the way for the Bald Eagles talented offensive line during the 2017 season. LHU’s offense finished with 355.5 yards per game including the PSAC's No. 4 run-attack with 198.4 rushing yards per game. LHU ran for 20 TDs on the season thanks to the veteran offensive line, led by Fielding. Fielding (8GP/8GS) missed three games, but still finished with 114 total knockdown blocks.

Flamer led the Bald Eagles shutdown-secondary all year. Flamer finished with a team-high 94 tackles. His 63 solo tackles ranked third in the PSAC and he finished the regular season with 8.5 tackles per game. Flamer also had two interceptions, three forced fumbles and six pass breakups.
