Frederick W. Miller, Jr., 82, of Cogan House Twp., died Friday January 12, 2018 in Northumberland County as a result of a traffic accident.
Born November 8, 1935 in Philadelphia, he was a son of Frederick W., Sr. and Marie (Kreutz) Miller.
He retired after 36 years from Cuneo Eastern, Press, Philadelphia, and also was owner of JFM Coin Business in Olney, PA. Fred and his family traveled to Cogan House Twp., since the 1950’s to enjoy time at their cabin and later they made it their second home. He enjoyed being outdoors cutting wood, and loved hunting. He collected coins, stamps, football and baseball cards, and antiques. He loved being with his family and his grandson and best friend Vincenzo Tyler Miller

Surviving are his wife Joan F. (Haines) Miller whom he married June 26, 1954, three sons Frederick Warren Miller, III of Prospectiveville, Roy Joseph “Chickie” Miller, Sr. of Bristol, PA, and Chris P. Miller, Sr. of Brookside, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, eight siblings, and expecting a great -great grandchild this spring.
He was preceded in death by an infant son Gerald John Miller, a son Mark Anthony Miller in 2008, and two brothers.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
