WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Looking to clinch a fourth straight postseason berth with a win, the 11th-ranked Lycoming College men’s basketball team hosts Alvernia University in MAC Commonwealth action on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 8 p.m., at Lamade Gym.

The Warriors (18-2 overall, 9-2 MAC Commonwealth) had a six-game winning streak snapped in its 66-65 loss to Widener. Three Lycoming starters were in double figures, led by 13 points from senior Chris Wallace and 10 points a piece from junior Darius James and freshman Darius Dangerfield.

Alvernia (9-10 overall, 4-6 MAC Commonwealth) snapped a two-game losing streak with its 84-64 win over Hood. Nick Youngkin led the Golden Wolves with a career-high 30 points and six rebounds.

Warrior Notes
• With a win, the Warriors will clinch a fourth straight MAC Commonwealth Tournament  berth. Only Alvernia’s run of five straight berths is longer.

• It would be the second longest postseason streak in program history and the longest since a streak of six straight berths from 1999-04.

• With 1,157 career points, senior Chris Wallace needs 17 more to pass Ray Graff (1976-80) for 21st in program history.

• With five rebounds against Widener, Wallace became the seventh player in program history to post 1,000 points and 600 rebounds in a career.

• Senior Alex Newbold needs seven more rebounds to become the 15th player in school history to post 1,000 career points and 500 rebounds.

• Junior T.J. Duckett is the 10th player in program history to hit 160 3-pointers in a career.
