Obituary - Phillip Eugene Good, 56, of Antes Fort, passed away January 24, 2018

Phillip Eugene Good, 56, of Antes Fort, passed away late evening on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at UPMC Williamsport Regional Medical Center, surrounded by friends and family. He was born on Jan. 3, 1962, the son of Charles and Delores (Guthrie) Good. 

Phillip was a 1979 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. He served in the U.S Air Force as a mechanic and in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of the VFW. For over 11 years Phillip worked at PMF Industry, first as a supervisor, then as their purchasing agent. Prior to that he also worked at Young Industries and 21st Century Signs. 

More than anything Phillip loved his friends and family and could always be counted on to help a friend in need. Phillip enjoyed fishing, camping and taking motorcycle rides. He was also an avid wine maker and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Good and step-father, Glenn "Bud" Luse.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Cheryl A. Good, of Antes Fort; his children Samantha Curles, of Antes Fort, Phillip E. Good II (Raquel), of Jersey Shore and Amanda Good, of Renovo; and six grandchildren: Lyle, Elianna, Eli, Owen, Charlie and Kayden. He is also survived by his mother, Delores Good-Luse, of Williamsport; siblings, Arthur Good (Cindy), of Antes Fort, Kim McDevitt (Jim), of Easton, and Nancy Hamilton, of Williamsport; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

In keeping with Phillip's wishes, a private life celebration will be planned at the convenience of the family.
