William Lee Miller, 87, of Loganton, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.

Born February 8, 1930 in Tylersville, he was a son to the late Russell A. and Hattie C. (Nicholas) Miller. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Catherine M. (Johnson) Miller on June 10, 1997.

William honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Mount Pleasant Bible Church. For many years he was a self employed painter, paper hanger, and farmer. Over the years, he and his wife were parents to many foster children. His hobby was restoring old cars.

Surviving are his daughter, Suzette H. King, of Tylersville; three sons, Brian L. (Arleen) Miller, Willis R. Miller, and Nicholas A. Miller, all of Tylersville; a grandson, Walter Miller; three great-grandchildren, Katana, Dayton, and Daniel; a great-great-grandson, Nicklaus; several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glenn (Jean) Miller, of Howard, Jerry E. (Linda) Miller, of Loganton; and a brother-in-law, Robert (Donna) Mills, of Tylersville.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Johns United Church of Christ, 3782 Narrows Road, Tylersville, PA 17747. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday morning at church. The Rev. William Livermore (of the Romola Bible Church) will officiate.

Burial will be held in the Tylersville Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
