She has been named the PSAC Central Pitcher of the Week. Caputo was the only pitcher from the PSAC Central division to record a win on opening weekend. She was also sensational at the plate, hitting .381 with four home runs and two RBIs. Over the six-game span, Caputo was 8 for 21 at the plate. She homered in LHU’s win over Georgian Court and recorded a two home run game vs. Wilmington.
Caputo recorded a win in the circle over Georgian Court after scattering nine hits. In all she struck out three in 10 1/3 total innings of work over last week. Caputo saw action in the circle in four of Lock Haven’s six games on opening weekend.
