Lycoming County courts charge seven with harassment, theft and DUI

Lycoming County courts charge seven with harassment, theft and DUI:

• William K. Pysher, 59, Allenwood; Lycoming County District Attorney’s office; bad checks, three charges of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds received, three charges of receiving stolen property and three charges of falsification after Pysher, who was appointed executor of the estate of Donald Edward, of Montgomery, wrote himself $61,036.31 worth of checks between May 2016 to November 2017; released on $35,000 bail.

• Francis D. Beaghley Sr., 43, of 328 Brandon Ave.; city police; harassment and simple assault after striking his wife during an argument at their house on Feb. 7; jailed in lieu of $1,000 bail.

• William E. Vantrieste, 18, 322 Locust St.; Montoursville police; theft of property and receiving stolen property after stealing $1,318.56 from an envelope Vantrieste and his friend Marsha Taylor found in a purse after the owner of the purse had cashed in an insurance check at 1015 N. Loyalsock Ave. on Feb. 2; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.

• Joyleen D. McClements, 45, 324 Campbell St.; city police; theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property when she asked Linda Torello to borrow a coat and stole $160 from her wallet when she was distracted at 324 Walnut St. on Feb. 11; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.

• Jeremy S. Warrens, 39, of Munith, Michigan; state police; DUI, careless driving and driving on roadways meant for traffic on Interstate 180 West Bound on Feb. 11; released on $5,000 bail.

• Derrell C. Cox, 25, Philadelphia; city police; theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after stealing a cellphone worth $618.98 from Theresa Moff’s desk at 700 high St. on Dec. 11, 2017; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

•Laura Jean N. Hill, 26, Clearfield; city police; retail theft after stealing a $39.98 jacket from Khol’s at 251 William St. on Sept. 10, 2017; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.
