LHU Football - Jalen Jackson named to D2CCA All-Super Region 1 Team

Standout tight end Jalen Jackson of the LHU football team has been named to the 2018 D2CCA All-Super Region 1 Football Team.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Standout sophomore tight end Jalen Jackson (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) of the Lock Haven University football team has been named to the 2018 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Super Region 1 Team.


Jackson, the premier tight end in the region, was also a 2018 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) First Team selection. He sat atop the list of all tight ends in the conference and region as one of the leader in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns.

The dynamic offensive threat hauled in seven TD catches on the season.

The speedy and agile tight end who is known for his ability to run after the catch and also his exceptional blocking ability, recorded a total of 44 catches for 537 yards. Jackson averaged 48.8 receiving yards per game. His seven TDs ranked seventh overall in the PSAC among all players during the regular season and he capped the season with a three-touchdown game in the thrilling win over Gannon in the snow-covered season-finale on the road.
