LHU Swimming competes in day one at Wooster Invitational

The LHU swimming team traveled to Wooster, Ohio for day one of the Wooster Invitational.

LOCK HAVEN Pa. – The Lock Haven University Swim Team competed in the College of Wooster Invitational on Thursday, November 29th in the first day of action of the three day event.

Day one action started with the first session in the morning which featured multiple individual relays and individual events with both men's and women's teams participating. The Bald Eagles competed in three individual events in the morning session.

The action then moved to the finals on Thursday night. The Bald Eagles competed in multiple relay and individual finals. Raechel Rodriguez (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) competed in the final in the 200-yard IM and finished 14th overall with a time of 2:19.06. Carly Ray (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./James M Coughlin) placed 19th in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.26

The Bald Eagles will dive back into the pool tomorrow (November 30) and Saturday (December 1) at the College of Wooster Invitational.
