Bald Eagles Swimming caps off Wooster Invite

The LHU swimming team wraps up the final day of action at the College of Wooster Invite.

LOCK HAVEN Pa. – The Lock Haven University Swim Team completed the third and final day of swimming at the Wooster Invite.

The preliminary round once again kicked off at 10 a.m. followed by the finals at 5 p.m.

Raechel Rodriguez (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) completed stellar invite by advancing to yet another final in the 200-yard breaststroke. She turned in another top ten performance finishing 9th with a PSAC qualifying time of 2:29.69. It was her second top ten finish and PSAC qualifier, and she was joined in the final by Steph Parker (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) who placed 16th with a time of 2:36.95.

Over the three days, multiple Bald Eagles advanced to the finals in their respective events. Carly Ray (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./James M Coughlin) and Rebecca Nothstein (Northampton, Pa./Northampton) both turned in 19thplace performances, Ray in the 50-yard free and Nothstein in the 100-yard butterfly.

The Bald Eagles travel to Florida for the St. Petersburg Classic Swim Meet on Sunday, January 6th.
