BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University women's basketball team started slowly but outscored visiting Gannon University, 49-29, over the final three quarters to open Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action with a 56-41 victory over the Golden Knights on Saturday afternoon at the Nelson Field House. Bloomsburg improved to 5-2 overall while Gannon dropped to 4-4. It marked the PSAC opener for both schools.

PITTSBURGH-Bloomsburg University women's cross country runner Morgan Ilgenfritz (Loysville, Pa./Boiling Springs) concluded her collegiate career with a 92nd place finish at the 2018 NCAA Division II National Championships on Saturday at Bob O'Connor Golf Course at Schenley Park. Ilgenfritz finished the 6k course in a time of 24:20.

PITTSBURGH-Bloomsburg University men's cross country finished his college career with a 108th place finish at the 2018 NCAA Division II National Championships on Saturday at the Bob O'Connor Golf Course at Schenley Park. McGuire finished the 10k course in a time of 34:41.

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - Freshman sensation Travis Elmore(Tobyhanna, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) continues to impress as his layup with 9.4 seconds left in regulation snapped a 62-62 tie and helped propel the Bloomsburg University men's basketball team to a 66-62 victory over visiting Gannon University on Saturday afternoon at the Nelson Field House in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opener for both teams. The Huskies improved to 3-2 overall while the Golden Knights dropped to 2-4 on the season.

AKRON, Ohio - Redshirt junior Kyle Dix (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) broke the school record in the 100-yard butterfly to highlight day two for the Bloomsburg University men's swimming at the Zippy Invitational, hosted by the University of Akron, on Saturday. The Huskies remain in second place in a Division I-heavy field through two days at the event. Bloomsburg has a total of 1088 team points and trails only Oakland University (1618.5 points) in the standings.
