Wildcats Women's Basketball Fall to Elmira

ELMIRA, N.Y. – Penn College fell to Elmira College 69-58 in a non-conference women's basketball game Saturday. The Wildcats fell to 0-8, while the Eagles improved to 4-4.

Kaylah Brown scored a career-high 20 points for Penn College, on 8 of 20 shooting, Cassi Kuhns added 12 points, and Madison Klock and Maci Ilgen both finished with 10 points each.

Alyssa Waters led Elmira with 19 points, Sally Hogan finished with 16, Rachel Vespucci added 12, and Bridget Yaw pumped in 11.

Elmira led the entire first quarter, and finished the period ahead 18-13 and ended the half with a 40-19 advantage.

Penn College outscored Elmira 19-12 in third quarter and 20-17 in the fourth quarter.

The Wildcats return to action Dec. 15, 1 p.m., at Bryn Mawr College.
